About Calligraphy

Chinese Calligraphy is an ancient practice that is widely practiced and honored as a way to flow universal wisdom, receive qi, and enrich life through its powerful, positive messages. It is known as one of the most relaxing yet highly disciplined exercises for one’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. This holds true for both the practitioner and the viewer.

Tao Calligraphy created by Master and Professor Zhi Gang Sha, professor at State Ethnic Academy of Painting in Beijing, is a unique style of calligraphy that combines the artistic beauty of Yi Bi Zi (fully cursive script, oneness writing) with Tao light transmissions.

Every Tao Calligraphy emits frequencies and vibrations that create a field of light for anyone in its presence. It is a sacred calligraphy with the breath-taking beauty of Hun Yuan Yi Qi, the Oneness field. The process of creating the Calligraphy serves to align the heart, mind and body of the writer and raise their frequency. This applies to anyone who views the Calligraphy as well. The higher the frequency of the techniques administered, the more powerful the effect of the strokes become which heightens the alignment experience.

Master Sha learned Yi Bi Zi from his teacher, and became her only lineage holder. The over a hundred-year-old professor learned the art from Tài Shī, the teacher of the last royal family (Qing dynasty) in China. Yi Bi Zi emphasizes the resonance between strokes within one word as well as the harmony between words in one phrase. It is a unique calligraphy written within one breath and one qi (energy). By combining the artistic beauty of Yi Bi Zi with Tao light transmissions Master Sha has created a uniquely rich new tradition of Calligraphy.

"It is said that in calligraphy, the stroke offers clues to one's personality, talents and even mood, vitality, or state of health, somewhat like graphology purports to do in the West. For many practitioners, calligraphy is much more – it is an advanced spiritual practice requiring western deep concentration, balanced emotions and a deep connection with heaven to ensure that the most beautiful message and energy will flow through the characters.

Thus, in its highest expression, calligraphy produces so much more than pretty pictures for the wall. It is an ancient practice than can be applied in other areas of modern life, such as healing. This holds true both for the viewer and for the practitioner. The more aligned is the writer in soul, heart, mind and body, and the higher the frequency of the writer, the higher the frequency of the technique and the more powerful the healing reflected in the stroke".
